This 1920's Philadelphia row home had been remodeled with an ugly and non-functional kitchen. Our clients loved the open floor plan, but wanted to bring back some historic charm to match the period details throughout their home. When we saw their collection of vintage hardware, live edge wood, and craftsman tiles we knew that they wanted something special. We reconfigured the layout to fit a larger island with deep storage drawers. Near the refrigerator we added a wall of cabinets that hides small appliances, a microwave, and includes tons of extra storage. Airy Kitchens also sourced custom curtains and a new exterior door. The final product is a little bit country, a little bit craftsman, and a very happy place!
