The Design Process

The more we get to know you, the easier it is to design for you. Our process starts at your home where we learn about your family, lifestyle, history and aesthetic. We use a detailed questionnaire to review options and ensure your designer understands your needs and challenges. After rendering your space, we share multiple schematic layout options that offer creative solutions for you to choose from. Finally, we create a comprehensive design package customized for you and your home. 

 Our design package consists of:

  • Detailed 3D renderings of your proposed spaces

  • Storyboards with all hardware, fixtures, and furnishings

  • A presentation in our showroom with material samples

  • An itemized cost estimate including sources for each product

  • Dimensioned cabinetry drawings showing organizer placement

Designs include cabinetry from one of our cabinet lines, plus appliances, countertops, hardware, and fixtures. Designs can also include moldings, new doors and windows, wall treatments, window coverings, and furniture. 

 

The Project Management Process

Our team of knowledgeable project managers are invaluable and dedicated to keeping your project on time and on budget. Your project manager starts by creating detailed construction documents, they connect you with a preferred contractor, coordinate all project materials, and oversee construction from permits to punch list. We manage schedules, payments, daily updates, and photos all in one app, accessible to all homeowners and contractors. The Airy Kitchens team will be with you every step of the way, guaranteeing you love your new space.
