Sean Lewis founded Airy Kitchens in 2017 on the belief that homeowners deserve beautiful and efficient spaces that fit the character of their homes. With our own line of cabinetry and paint colors, a welcoming showroom with samples, a curated selection of trusted vendors, and a team of highly-talented designers and project managers, we are a one-stop shop for kitchen and bathroom renovation needs in the Philadelphia area. We provide creative design solutions that fit the needs of each household. Our team objective is to deliver approachable and reliable customer service throughout each project so that our clients feel heard and happy. 

Sean Lewis | Creative Director

Sean Lewis is the founder and Creative Director of Airy Kitchens, a Philadelphia interior design studio that specializes in luxury kitchens and bathrooms. He is known for his colorful and considered style that blends modern layouts with historic architecture. Sean believes in creating layered interiors that pair beauty with function. He has a gift for understanding how good design can promote comfortable and organic connections and his designs pay tribute to regional heritage through materials and craft.

Drafting floorpans since age seven, Sean’s passion for designing houses began early. He studied architecture at the university of Michigan and moved to Brooklyn, NY to start his career in 2004. After working in commercial interior design, Sean started a design+build studio with a cofounder where he explored creating sculptural designs with plants, stone, and custom outdoor kitchens. After renovating his first home in the Hudson Valley, Sean and his husband moved to Philadelphia in 2017 and decided to renovate a century old stone house. This project was a laboratory for experimentation and the birthplace of Airy Kitchens. Now a father of two, Sean continues to find inspiration in his family and community. His creative spirit and passion for interiors has helped grow Airy Kitchens into a local cornerstone for historic renovation and design.

Jack Caspar | Senior Project Manager

Jack developed a love for woodworking at a young age and installed his first kitchen at nineteen years old. His past work includes historic home restoration, building passive solar homes, and custom cabinetry installation. Jack has worked with other luxury kitchen companies including Blue Bell Kitchens and Spogue Kitchens where he grew from a cabinet installer into a project manager. With a deep knowledge of high-end home construction and a passion for customer service, Jack is a team leader with hands-on skills.

When not working (which is rare), Jack enjoys hiking, kayaking, and has a deep appreciation for music and art. He has two adult children and three grandchildren. Jack lives with his wife and has a home workshop in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. Despite his fear of needles, Jack has been a dedicated blood donor for the past twenty years.

Mason Askins | Project Manager

Mason is a Texas transplant who has fallen in love with Philadelphia. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering, giving him a background in both design and management. His previous work experience was as a project manager for a builder who did a variety of residential projects ranging from remodels, add-ons, and new builds.

When not working you can find him at the climbing gym, in the park with his volleyball friends, or cooking at home. On the weekends he and his partner hike with their dog Vinnie.

Fiona Eickman | Marketing Manager

Meet our Marketing Manager, Fiona. She brings a strong background from the design and contracting industries. Fiona oversees our brand management and loves identifying local partnerships, often collaborating with local artisans and chefs for events. She has lived in Philadelphia for the past decade and loves the unique architectural styles of our city, especially the historic residential architecture of Chestnut Hill and Mount Airy.
