Kitchen Design in an Ardmore Home
Two cramped rooms divided by a central chimney were transformed into one open, elegant space by removing the chimney and reinforcing with hidden steel beams, creating a seamless layout centered around a navy island, custom cabinetry, and a Mediterranean-inspired backsplash.
Main Line Bathroom Design
We design primary bathrooms that feel calm, functional, and enduring. Every detail is considered—from layout efficiency to material selection and lighting, resulting in spaces that feel both restorative and highly practical. Design deliverables include floor plans, 3D renderings, fixture and finish selections, cabinetry design, and a transparent construction estimate.
Primary Bathroom Design
In the primary bath, we reworked a tight layout to create a brighter, more open space by removing the wall separating the shower. A narrow closet was replaced with a custom built-in hutch, adding both storage and a more intentional sense of design.
We redesigned two bathrooms for a stylish Ardmore couple, using a black-and-white palette and Art Deco influence to complement their 1920s home. In the primary bath, we opened the layout by removing a shower wall and replacing a narrow closet with a custom built-in hutch, creating a brighter, more functional space.
Guest Bathroom Design
In the guest bath, we closed two doorways to reclaim wall space for a double vanity and additional storage. The original corner tub was preserved, with the spout relocated to allow for more comfortable shared use.

What's the difference between custom and ready-made cabinets?
Custom cabinets are hand-built for your space and offer specialty finishes, furniture-like detailing, and integrated lighting. Ready-made cabinets are pre-sized, factory-made, and offer less flexibility and customization. All cabinet lines offer:

What's the difference between an interior designer and a kitchen designer?
Some kitchen and bath companies only design cabinetry, counters, and fixtures. Airy Kitchens specializes in kitchens and bathrooms and we offer full-service interior design. Our designs include furnishings, window coverings, lighting, wallpaper, replacement windows and doors, custom cabinetry and millwork, counters, fixtures, and all materials. We can also design adjacent rooms like bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms.
What custom cabinetry and millwork options do you offer?
We design and install fully custom cabinets, islands, vanities, and built-ins with integrated lighting and organizers. Our millwork services include moldings, stair components, fireplace mantels, and entertainment centers for a cohesive luxury feel.
